About the role
This is a new and exciting opportunity to join Reuben College and be part of a small team of Porters in the Radcliffe Science Library, which is opening this September after being extensively refurbished. You will be at the hub of the College, supporting students, staff and visitors on a daily basis; with a range of services from reception management, mail distribution, security monitoring, meeting and greeting. This post requires that you are always well presented, and a Uniform will be provided by Reuben College to be worn while you are at work.
About you
You will have experience of working in a busy customer-facing role, interacting with a wide and diverse range of customers. You will need to have excellent communication, organisational skills and be able to work with a high level of accuracy, with good attention to detail. The ability to work proactively and use initiative when required is essential for this post.
These post are permanent and offered on either a full-time (36.5 hours a week) or part-time (various hours) basis, with a variable shift patterns, which may include weekends and bank holidays.****
