Job Description
We are a friendly small practice looking for a Receptionist to join the team at Queens Road Surgery, Nuneaton.
Responsibilities will include a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients as required.
The Receptionist shall act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
Practice hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6.30pm and shifts will be between these hours. The hours will be negotiable, with additional sickness and holiday cover when required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, reliable and able to work on their own initiative, as well as a team player.
You should have a good level of general education with 3 GCSEs Grade A-C including English and Maths.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
Hourly rate - depending on experience.
