Haute Vallee School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic School Based Education Welfare Officer (SBEWO). The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to focus on the wellbeing, safety and welfare of our students at all times, focusing on an improved attendance in lessons at School, by addressing the barriers to learning in the student.
The successful candidate will be resilient with an ability to represent the needs of students when working collaboratively with various outside agencies, they will be the voice of the student at all times. The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with students, staff and parents.
The successful applicant will be well organised, flexible, friendly and be able to work to deadlines, often at short notice and under a degree of pressure. This is a very rewarding role as a result of the positive impact this person will have on our students and their lives in and outside of school.
