Role Title Head of Trade & Working Capital Origination - Mid Corporate and BUK

What will you be doing
- To generate Trade & Working Capital business, in support of Coverage, for Barclays Corporate & new to bank clients for Mid Corporate and Business Banking segments
- Responsible for the performance management and development of the regional Trade & Working Capital (T&WC) Leadership (x3) and wider Origination team ( Vice Presidents and Assistant Vice Presidents)
- To manage regions T&WC business plan, deal activity and pipeline to ensure team drive deals to conclusion
- To provide product expertise (Trade & Sales Finance), deal structuring and pricing coaching support for the Team
- Managing relationships at Regional Managing Director & Corporate Director level within the Barclays Corporate region in order to influence and drive T&WC business and activity
- The role-holder will also proactively drive relationships with existing key clients and non-Barclays connections to capture their Trade & Working Capital Business
- To oversee credit and approval process to ensure that delivery of the customer solution is done at speed and in the best interests of the bank and its client.
- To contribute as a senior leader to the overall management and strategic direction of the UK Trade & Working Capital business
