We are a luxury hotel, restaurant and bar in a beautiful part of the Suffolk countryside looking for an enthusiastic, confident and hardworking Receptionist to join our team.
You will be looking for a role in which you can be proud of what you do, in an environment where the details matter. This is so much more than a desk job - your role will take you around the building on a regular basis, checking standards, acting as a host and assisting the Food & Beverage team.
The Marquis is a one of a kind, growing company with big ambitions for the future so there will be opportunities for our people to grow with us. We are currently building a stunning wedding and event venue, spa and additional rooms to be opening in Spring 2024.
Due to the nature of our business applicants must be available to work evenings and weekends - shifts are usually early (7am-3pm) or late (2.30pm-11pm)
The contract will be a flexible 37.5hrs per week, hourly paid.
You don't need to have worked in a hotel or restaurant before, but customer facing experience is beneficial.
Tips are paid on top of wage, approximately £2,500+ per year.
