Corporate Title Assistant Vice President

The Event Management group is an oversight team that are responsible for managing and supporting all processes which occur throughout the lifecycle of a Corporate Action and a Dividend.

As part of this group, you would also look for opportunities to identify improvements in each current process and undertake asset service project work which could involve system change or implement regulatory requirements into current processes.

The primary function of the team is to mitigate either reputational or financial risk that can occur through processing and is achieved through the key responsibilities listed below.

Your key responsibilities

  • Chairing / attending a daily escalation forum reviewing all risk factors surrounding in-flight events
  • Preparing and sending minutes from the escalation forum to Risk and Senior Management
  • Prioritising pre Ex/Record date events and submit to the process line for an up to date summary
  • Investigating the root cause of queries and providing corrective measures, delivering training via presentations with the objective of reducing the number of future queries
  • Monitoring the performance of the Line against the pre-agreed Service Level Documents that exist between each processing function
  • Providing escalation of any risk in accordance with the Service Level Document (Within 24 hours)

Your skills and experience

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills are required as this role will interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Front to back functional process experience
  • Extensive market event and product knowledge
  • Experience reconciling nostro, Front Office/Back Office and balance sheet breaks.
