LGV C Driver (HGV Class 2) - Days - based Coventry
DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced LGV Cat C Driver (HGV Class 2) to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Role involves the manual handling and unloading of automotive tyres
- Start times between 02:00-06:00 - MUST be able to cover ALL start times
- Shift pattern - Monday to Friday
- Salary £32,445 based on a 48 hour week
- 2-3 drops per day UK wide delivering to tyre wholesalers and retailers - manual handling involved!!
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- You will hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (LGV Cat C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Commercial 'on the road' experience of driving LGV Cat C (HGV Class 2) vehicles
- Duties involve manual handling, unloading of tyre, so candidates must understand the physicaility of the role
- Pass a CRB criminal record check
- Live near to Keresley, Coventry CV6 4QB
