RemoteStar is looking to hire a QA Engineer(Automation) on behalf of our client headquartered in London ,UK
About Client:
A London based company is looking for a dynamic, creative, QA Engineer(Automation) to join their team and build extraordinary software. They help people to file Self Assessment tax return easily, compliantly, and with maximum tax efficiency. This is a full-time permanent role for a true self-starter, someone who wants to build something from the beginning.
As our QA Engineer, you will:
Confirm and ensure that products are of high quality prior to release
Create test plans, test cases, test scripts for the various testing .
Perform load, stress and soak tests.
Validating, reporting and giving input on what could be improved.
Perform verification tests of the server functionality in the dev environment, and as well with users and ensuring that user requirement is met
Collaborate and communicate with multiple teams.
Keep track of the test results and KPIs and report back to the developers/the team.
Good understanding of Scrum /Agile principles
Actively communicate with the stakeholders, team members, and clients
A QA- mindset
What do we value?
Substantial related experience( 3+) in Quality Assurance / Tester
Experience of writing automation scripts is must have.
Unit Testing experience in Jest.
Ability to test Backend via Cypress and SQL is a must have.
Good solid understanding of of Scrum/Agile is mandatory
Have good documentation / generation of test plans skills
Experience with Fintech application is good to have.
Understands UAT environment very well & can manage it according to various testing scenarios
Basic coding skills of MERN stack is nice to have
Understanding of Release processes is nice to have
Creative problem-solving skills.
