The Role
In the role of Digital Designer at Master Promotions Ltd., you will play a crucial part in supporting the branding and event design collateral for over 30 diverse events in our portfolio giving you the unique opportunity to create a unique digital footprint for each event.
Your responsibilities will encompass designing graphics for social media, direct email campaigns, websites, and exhibit sales collateral. Additionally, you will be responsible for editing promotional videos, designing event signage, and utilizing WordPress to build and maintain event websites. While the primary focus will be on digital design, there will also be a requirement for traditional print design for advertising and promotional items.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop digital brand and event theme.
- Create and edit promotional videos for show advertising and social media content.
- Responsible for initial website builds including graphics using provided copy, and a WordPress template.
- Maintain event websites (via WordPress)
- Assist marketing team with social media content
- Develop and create graphics for each of Master Promotions’ events, including but not limited to print advertising and various printed promotional items.
- Create other show collateral as directed, i.e., Banners, postcards, etc.
- Design and set up all event signage for respective events.
- Stay current and informed on social media and design trends and developments.
- Actively participate in continued education and online learning to ensure your skills develop with new trends and programs.
Qualifications
· Diploma or Certificate in Digital/Graphic Design preferred.
· Previous experience in the graphics industry preferred.
· Experience with video editing is considered an asset.
· Proficiency in Adobe Suite and other graphic design software required.
· Experience with WordPress and website software is an asset.
· Experience in Vectorworks or CAD Software would be considered an asset.
· Basic knowledge of digital printing and layout required.
· Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong problem-solving and organization skills while operating in a tight deadline environment.
