About us
Delicia Cafe & Bakery is a brand new business in New Westminster, BC. Looking for Experienced Barista to join our team:
Responsibilities for Barista
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
- Ensure the kitchen & all areas are clean and sanitized at all times
- Carry out administrative duties to maintain an efficient workspace
Requirements :
- Minimum 1-2 years experience as Barista in Canada - Experience for working with programming coffee machines not considered.
- Must have experience for working with Professional Espresso coffee machine
- Having a knowledge of Latte Art is preferred
- Having a knowledge of how to bake pastries is preferred
- Food Safe Cetificate Level 1 is required before starting the job
- Week days and weekend availability during business hours is a must.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week
Salary: $17.00 per hour
