Job Description
Our client in Blakelands, near Newport Pagnell are seeking an experienced data professional with expertise in managing and manipulating data. You will be responsible for the development of product catalogues for venders and customers.
Salary: £29,000
Hours: 9am to 5.30 Monday to Friday
Role Duties:
- Populate and maintain online and PMS catalogues;
- Uploading and entering data from Master Data to catalogues
- Validating data
- Ensuring continued functionality of master data in terms of product catalogues, linkages to products, attributes grouping and data security
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify new product/item additions/product/item updates, roll-outs, recalls and take appropriate action to keep data up to date
- Facilitate on going management of product/item master data:
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data quality issues
- Add, delete, edit master data when changes are needed
- Resolve catalogue queries with urgency
- Successfully test applications before roll out to customers - in depth project planning before going live with all new EDI systems
- Liaise with product/item data sources and data consumers in support of data governance SOPs
- Conduct data quality assessments and adjustments
- Maintaining customer pricing database & creating monthly promotions
- Dealing with queries relating to customer pricing
- Creating new customer accounts, when required
- Carry out pricing audits
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in managing and manipulating product data for a minimum of 3 years
- Experience in a similar role
- Advanced Excel
- Ability to handle a number of complex tasks and projects whilst achieving set deadlines
