4 or 5 day week
The Company
They are a pillar of the tech scene in the North West, specialising in developing cutting-edge cloud software solutions with a mission of preventing/detecting harm and saving lives.
Project wise most of what you work on will be greenfield, no 'business as usual' - in other words, you can really have an influence, shaping things from the ground up. They are working on, without exaggeration, some of the most technically advanced projects in the UK.
There is a huge focus on L&D and ensuring there is a healthy work/life balance. You will have time off to attend hackathons, conferences, tech events, training, and to even peruse hobbies that fall out of the scope of your role here.
We also have the option of a 4-day working week (not 5 days' worth of hours crammed into 4 days, an actual 4 day working week.)
The Role
You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust solutions using the power couple that is Node and React.
They value the importance of scalability and reliability - whether you've used AWS, Azure, GCP, your ability to deploy, scale, and optimise applications in the cloud will be highly valued.
We're looking for a mix of the following:

Commercial experience using Node and React (Vue, Angular etc considered too!)

Experience working in an Agile environment

Genuine passion for tech and a willingness to learn new things
It's a bonus if you have:

AWS, Azure or GCP (they primarily use AWS but this is the perfect place to showcase your skills and learn new ones)

An appreciation for IaC and Containerisation (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker)
Location
HQ'd by Manchester they have lots of remote and flexible working. They also have a secure free car park for when you want to go on site.
