Job Description
Accounts Assistant/Apprentice required for a well-established Accountancy Practice based in Hockley Birmingham.
The practice has a strong clientele and was established in 2000.
The role would involve Book-keeping, Payroll, VAT and other Accountancy tasks such as Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Preparation and Tax Work.
The role would require some previous experience working within an Accountancy practice. However, we would consider a determined person willing to learn quickly.
Upon completing the probationary period the candidate would be offered a permanent position.
There will be scope for further progression in the firm for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate would be someone studying there AAT or ACCA exams and seeking to further gain experience alongside their studies.
Must have a good understanding of Maths & English.
Must have some previous experience of working in Finance/Accountancy Practice.
Working hours permanent full time 35 - 37.5 per week.
