Our Global Risk function, led by the Group Chief Risk Officer, oversees a comprehensive risk management framework that is applied throughout the Group. Global Risk is made up of sub-functions covering all risks to our business.
This is a senior role reporting directly into the Global Head of Capital Risk. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing independent risk oversight of capital risk management, measurement, and reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of capital risk, Treasury and SFX (Structural Foreign Exchange), in terms of both first-hand management and the reporting of capital risks. The candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of best practice and regulatory expectations for capital risk management.

We are seeking an experienced Structural Foreign Exchange Risk Manager to join our growing capital team in London.
In this role, you will:
- The role holder will be responsible for providing independent oversight of Capital risk management for the Group.
- The role requires the candidate to focus on the oversight of the Group Structural Foreign Exchange (SFX) management.
- The role requires in depth knowledge of best practices and regulatory expectation for SFX management and the wider treasury risk management.
- The role holder will support the maintenance and ongoing development of the SFX Policy and ensuring it is effectively implemented across the Group and supporting regions.
- The role holder will review and challenge the Group hedging strategy and proposed limits.
- The role holder will work with first line Treasury teams and regional Capital risk colleagues to provide oversight on limit monitoring of currency hedging activity
