Job Description
Itchen Sixth Form College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and well-presented person to work as part of our dedicated, friendly college reception team.
You will provide the first point of contact for all visitors to the college in person as well as answering queries by email and telephone. We need someone who can cope with many and varied tasks, whilst remaining calm and professional. Highly motivated, you will be able to work under pressure, approaching tasks with confidence and clarity and be able to work using your own initiative. You will need to be flexible in your approach and have the ability to work as part of a team and assist other administration departments when required. Having previously worked in an educational establishment in a similar role would be advantageous, however training and induction will be provided.
This is a part-time post predominately covering the hours of 9.00am-1.00pm Monday-Friday. However, flexibility is essential as candidates will be required to provide longer cover during college holidays or when covering the full time receptionist.

- Contract: Permanent, 20 hrs per week, 41 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks)
- Salary: £20,981 pro rata, per annum (dependent on experience)
