Job Description

What is the role

Working within a small in house design team across all of our brands, your key responsibilities with be researching and collating print trend, producing garment print, briefing our supply base and working alongside the buying team to create exclusive prints which will be sold on our multiple websites, in 100+ UK Stores and a variety of online marketplaces.

What you will do

  • Responsible for designing in house print artwork, creating both placement and all over print designs.
  • Creating print design in repeat, scale and with Pantone colour references
  • Amending purchased or supply base prints to fit into key trends and colour palettes
  • Ability to work to a given design brief from the buying team
  • Communicate approved artwork digitally to our supply base
  • Analysis of 3rd party trend information including creation of seasonal trend & colour palette boards
  • Able to work at a fast-pace
  • Liaise with other team members to ensure effective communication.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies in print design
  • Take responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement
  • Manage workload and prioritise projects
  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
  • Contribute ideas and designs for promoting the various Brands

What you will bring

  • A relevant qualification at degree or equivalent level
  • Experience of working within a print design team environment, within a multiple brand retailer preferable
  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience at similar level
  • Proficient user of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Exceptional communication, organisation & prioritisation skills
  • Effective communicator, presenter and team player
  • Ability to adopt a flexible approach when required and to think swiftly
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise projects
  • Proactive and keen to take on new tasks
